((Keravyn is a dragon I hope to play later. ^_^ Kera won't be like Draq, fluffed and furred and all. ))
Draq groaned softly in her mind, but traces of it were still heard in her voice. "Eight hours?! Gah. Anyone who's anyone knows not to come here. But anyway.."
She shook her head. "Not right now. Sadly."
She paused a moment. She looked over the horizon lightly, before saying anything again. "I visited Kera today. She said her hatchlings would hatch in a few days. 3-6 she said, somewhere around there."

Oh, that's wonderful! I hope the Paskans don't find them. Kuro sits in silence for moment, then suddenly perks up. Hey, I just remembered a good joke. OK, so a Machemeep, a Doshimmish, and a Foocha all walk into a bar... A movement at one of the camps catches her eye. She strains her eyes, but can see nothing, so she sends out a call to the half-hawk currently patrolling the skies. He banks, glides a bit, and then calls back. The news interests Kuro.
He says that Ragoth guy's been captured. Hm. Didn't take him long. She snags a conveniently passing insect Chantillian, only six inches long. Oy, shrimp, go tell the Machemeep king our spy's been caught. The bugs are used to being picked on by bigger, smarter Chantillians, so merely zooms off in the direction of the Machemeep territory.
I don't like the looks of this, Draq. Humans are weak, he'll crack quick. Maybe we should go investigate? She waits anxiously for Draq's opinion.

"You know how Kera is, she--"
Draq paused a moment, then glanced up. She growled lowly, her ears falling on the side of her head angerly. "If he's smart, he won't crack! Besides, it's not like we can't take out anything or anyone they sick on our land anyway." Draq stopped, then suddenly glared at her. "Hey! I thought you said you didn't care if he got captured. Why do you want to go investigate? If we take out their armies or something maybe they'll stop being ignorant little booty wipers and finally get the fact that THEY ARE NOT ALLOWED HERE! NOT NOW! NOT EVER! NOW LEAVE US ALONE!" Draq twitched a moment, then shook her head. "Sorry. I just hate the stupidity of humanity. It's disturbing."

Indeed - very disturbing. Makes you wonder how we're losing this war... Kuro's quills bristle. I dunno... it's not out of any respect for him that I would want to investigate. But he's human - he has no allegiances to protect, he said so himself. He knows where Machemeep territory is, he knows what our kings looks like, he's seen our numbers and our fighting style. If I had to investigate, I'd just slip in there, kill him, and get out again. Dead men say nothing, right? A loud buzzing heralds the return of the insect Chantillian, how lands on a branch just out of paw's reach and makes his report in a rapid monotone.
Machemeep king says Ragoth's a liability; says he's sending Oospik to do the job properly, and that Kurokachi is so remain on the alert. In the highly improbable case that Oospik fails, is captured, or dies, Kurokachi is to sound the alarm and investigate, keeping out of sight, and if possible kill Ragoth before his weak human tongue gives anything away. And that's my job done. The bug zips away.
Well. Kuro smiles proudly. I guess great minds think alike. She inches forward as far as she can on the branch and squints at the camp. Look, there's Oospik! A small dot in the distance is seen crawling toward the camp. I hope he makes it... better his skin then mine, but still, he's a good fighter. We need him.

[glow=red,2,300] im myrmidon in this thread sara[/glow]
A rustle in the woods and a few distinct trees and stones tell myr he's in chantillian land. This is perfect he thought. Now, if they are nice enough to not kill me and my men we shall be very lucky indeed. Then, he sees the chantllian running in the woods along side. They suddenly pop out from the woods leaving not enough time for anyone to even draw sword. In a matter of minutes, maybe less, only he and his 14 men were left standing. He turned to the chantillian.
" shall I report to any kings or tell you my information now or just leave?" he asked

((Eee. I wanna play a half-snake Chantillian. Snakes rock. >-<; She'll stay in her snake form most of the time.. if not all the time. We could say she did.. something.. and was punished by being forced into her animal form permenantly oo; And she'll be big.. real big oo; And other stuff. xP; I'll name 'er Kei'iyo, or Kei for short. Technically, Kei means Shadow or shadowless; added with the iyo, it would mean "Shadowless Blood Hunter" in Evallon's language. Anyway, I'll intro her here. ^^;
If I'm goin' too far on this lemme know. I'll calm it down a bit.. ^^; ))
Draq growled a moment. "Whatever.." Going "Whatever." was basically a quick way to try to end a convo. with Draq.
Draq glanced around a moment, then groaned. "Sooooo.. bored.." Her eyes caught the sight of a Paskan making his/her/its way (Draq didn't really care; it was going to die anyway) through the forest. She grumbled, then rose her wings.
But, before she could get airborne, something striked out.. something -large- from what Draq observed. Only part of it was out of the forest; but Draq could recognize what kind of animal it was, just by looking at the head and the bit that was out; not to mention the large fangs shown, stabbing and tossing the Paskan aside as if it were a ragdoll. It was a snake.
Draq couldn't make out much, but the little light that shown down revealed at least a vague description.
The upper scales were tainted a dark green, twith a taint of black along the body. Four black lines spread and met at the slitted yellow eyes, 2 on each, and curved down a bit, slowly shifting into green. Its soft underbelly glew a faint grey. The two upper fangs hidden in its closing mouth were larger than the ones on the bottom; and slightly dripped with a clear-yellow color; probably along the line of something like a poison.
The Paskan, baring hanging on, groaned, and churned. It shouldn't have; because the snake turned, eyeing it over, its double-slitted tngue weavering in and out of its mouth.
Half a second later, its tail--Draq guessed it was its tail; same color, same format, same.. everything---slammed down upon the Paskan. It wouldn't do anything.... if it didn't have the four scythe-like indentions on the tip. Looking from above, the east and west were pointed down; south and north, up. Draq, and anyone else who had sensed that Paskan, would not anymore; the Paskan was dead, as everyone above could see by the limp body hanging on the blade. Again, it got slammed down; and a few seconds later, eaten and ingulfed. Turning around, it slithered off, probably to find another prey.
Draq was seemly drooling right now. "Who.. or what.. the heck.."

(You're fine, Zin. ;D)
Kuro blinks. Hello Kei... doing well today? She inspects the Paskan's body, or what she can see of it from her place in the tree. Neatly done. She glances at Draq, drooling beside her. Draq? Are you all right? Draq? She gives the dragon a small shake. Draq! Wake up! This is Kei. She's Machemeep, recently let in. Um... she changes her voice to a whisper. A Paskan priestess passing through one day cursed her... she's stuck in that body. Be polite, she's on our side but dangerous.
While this conversation is being carried on, Oospik is speaking with Ragoth. That was easy... but they'll notice something soon. Report and then leave. His panther's tail flicks impatiently, and he adds rather apologetically, By the way - you did well holding your tongue. It appears we picked a worthy ally. Coming from a Chantillian, this is high praise indeed. Ragoth should be flattered.

And indeed he is. Myr reports that the communications should be down for a week or so, and taht there is an army of 5,00 or so marching towards chantillian territory.
