This is for those who play an instrument, love to make music, thought it would cool to have a place to talk about music and all that... So feel free to talk about what instrument you play, how long etc...

I have played piano for about 8 years on and off. I've also attempted to play guitar, but only for about a year. Yup...that's 'bout it. Hey Lauren, have you written any songs? Like, have you ever put your poetry to a tune? Just wondering...

Cello, two years. Started in 6th grade. I love it so much, and I daresay I'm pretty good at it. I've written music, but it disappeared with our old computer. And it had no words. :-( Also, I'm not much when it comes to songwriting.
Nick, Elly says you could practically cut a record with all the stuff you write. Is that true?

I didn't really teach myself. I watched my brother and he kind've inspired me then I learned a bit from him and looked up a lot of chords on the computer. See when you already play an instrument, picking up another one isn't as hard. Or at least that was the way it was for me . I don't think I could cut a CD yet. I need to work on background music and such to get a good compilation of songs worthy of being on a CD But I shall take that as a compliment. Oh and Snoopy, there are a few things I can't do like play the bagpipes. Yeah, that would be cool though. Wouldn't it? lol. Come out with a modern band that uses bagpipes! lol. ;D AWESOME! lol.
