HELLOOOOOOO? *calls out into the vast, empty void that is the Chantillian Kingdom*
I hereby renounce Hermes, Ed, Roy, and all other anime guys I THOUGHT were hot in my idiocy! There is none for me but the beautiful, gorgeous, oh-so-hot Kyo-kun!
An explanation: I went to Barnes & Noble yesterday. They had a HUGE, four sheld rack devoted entirely to manga! I dove for the shojo manga and grabbed Fruits Basket and Azumanga Daioh. Upon getting home, I read Azumanga Daioh and found it adorable. Chiyo-chan is sooooooooooo cute! And Sakaki really needs to understand that love of cute things is NOT a bad thing. But, my all-time favorite has got to be Osaka. Somehow, she reminds me of... me.
As to Fruits Basket - I LOVED IT! It's so cute! (Tohru's bug-out eyes notwithstanding.) I though Yuki-kun was hot (a bit feminine, perhaps) and then KYO makes his entrance! (crashing through the paper door and threatening to kill Yuki.) It was awesome! And Kyo is my new love!
Speaking of which, how do you pronounce that? Chrissi? Is it "Kee-oh" or "Kye-oh"? And as for "kun" - Is it "Koon" (like in moon) or "Kuhn" (like in run) or "Koon" (like in wood)?
I've made my own comic strip! It's called Anime in the Sticks! It's entirely in stick-figures with anime faces. Hastily drawn, couldn't be called any more than a crappy doodle. Which is why I used a pen name, "Sara-chan". It follows the adventures of.... me. In the story, I'm, like in real life, a bishonen-obsessed maniac. My first strip depicts me enlisting the help of my brother to shove a bound and gagged Tohru into a closet. The next one - "Headhunting for Winry."

OK, I have decided these things after lenghty examination of volumes 1 and 2:
Yuki is a heartless jerk, who gets sadistic pleasure out of kicking Kyo's butt constantly and calling him "The Cat" all the time.
Kyo is tragic and deep (OK, I'm biased) and just wants the chance to be in the zodiac, and has every reason to want to beat Yuki up after Yuki tricked him out of a future and made him an outcast in his own family! *sob* He's hot, and a great martial artist, and hot, and kind, and hot, and hot, and hot, and also really sweet. The one thing he doesn't have going for him is his day-glo orange hair. But, he deserves a hug (even though it turns him into a cat) because some cruel twist of fate has the Cat, already a sad outcast (his nickname at school is "anger management boy") living in the same house with the Dog and the Rat. Also, the way he sprouts cat ears when he's mad is adorable.
Momiji Sohma is a cheerful little boy (he's the Rabbit) who gets great happiness out of babbling in German to Tohru and completely confusing her. (Come to think of it, what's with all the Germans? There was one in Azumanga Daioh, talking to Osaka.) But she still loves him.
Shigure Sohma is also hot (heck, they ALL are - even poor, sad Hatori *sniff*) and needs to get a life. He's the Dog, by the way, so he claims he feels a "special connection" to Tohru. No, he's just lecherous.

I'm pretty sure it's just Kyo ("y" as in "yeah") and "kuhn."
I guess you're a good Osaka, but a little bit of a Tomo-chan. Julia is definately a Tomo-chan, maybe a little bit Yukari-sensei. Lauren is probably a Yomi. I'd say I'm part Osaka, part Sakaki. Poor Sakaki. ;-;
Oh, and manga Alucard is so much hotter than all of the guys you listed.
Randomness:
Osaka: Hey! A pair of panties...? Why do we say "pair" if it's only one?
Yomi: That's certainly out of the blue! Well...I guess it's cuz' it's got two holes for your legs.
Tomo-chan: A double-barreled shotgun's got two barrels, but we don't say "a pair of guns."
Osaka: Panties... Guns... Is there some sort of connection?
Yomi: That's enough out of you!

Meh! That's a great one. "Stupid! Stupid! Stuuuuuupid! STUPID!" is my absolute favorite.
I like Alucard... he's certainly good-looking, but I have an aversion to men who suck blood. Call me a wussy, but it's just... I dunno, I have a phobia of vampires. They make me very uncomfortable. Kyo, on the other hand, has fangs but only uses them for maiming Yuki.

WOW! What an episode! Poor Ed! Havoc thinks he can be all mean just 'cause Ed's missing an arm... geez, did I ever miss a lot last episode! I had no clue what was going on, and I was like, "GAH! Where's Al's right half? And Ed's?" Then I figured it out, and decided that Ed had a right to his anger. OK, what was with the sheep? I like sheep (I am a sheep) but poor Al! He's sitting there, helpless, and surrounded by sheep. Poor guy, he didn't deserve to be treated like luggage. Al is entirely too nice. I mean, he wouldn't talk to the stationmaster when he was being dropped off at the wrong station. What's wrong with saying, "I'm with Elric"? I wouldn't touch a talking suit of armor! And what was with that little girl? "Oh, look! A guy with a metal leg is running toward me... *gasp* Grandpa! I know, I'll drop a box on his head and steal his leg and take it to grandpa! And then all my problems will be over!" *run run run* *drop box* CRASH *remove leg* *run run run* Ed: "Whuh... funny, I seem to be missing something..." *stands up* *falls down* "AAAARGH!" And it it just me, or does Ed have a thing for ranting about his problems at total strangers? And breaking things in the process? I finally inserted Alucard into "Anime in the Sticks". There's no big white box that says, "ALUCARD" on it - he looks horrible, but he's got the coat, as you insisted. My next one - "To Hell for Hiei!"

HA HA! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! I guest-starred Lauren in Anime in the Sticks! It's quite interesting... 6 panels.
Ah yes... Sara-chan has new bishonen to chase. A good thing, I didn't know what I would do after Piro. I looked at the cover of Ragnarok... MEE HEE! MyLoki-myLoki-myLoki-myLoki! And Chaos! EEEEEEEE! hothothothothothothothothothothothothot!!!!!!
Now... my newest Anime in the Sticks. I just couldn't wait til Tuesday to show you.
Panel 1: (Sara-chan sitting against a wall in the rain, looking very dejected.) Sara-chan: Yeah yeah, I know. I should be out shooting Hayasaka and stabbing Kimiko and glomping Piro... but I'm not.
Panel 2: (Sara-chan looking angry and confused.) Sara-chan: I just can't help but feel there's more to life than bishonen... I should get a real boyfriend, stop chasing animated people.
Panel 3: (Sara-chan staring at the sky sadly and thoughtfully.) Sara-chan: Perhaps my life is like the sky... endless emptiness. Perhaps I should just end it all...
Panel 4: (Lauren splashes up, carrying an umbrella and looking miffed. Sara-chan is crying loudly into her hands.) Sara-chan: WAAH! Lauren: What are you spazzing about now, Sara-chan?
Panel 5: (Sara-chan rubbing eyes. Lauren smacking forehead.) Sara-chan: *sniff* Why do I only like animated guys? Is there something wrong with me?
Panel 6: (Lauren yelling at Sara-chan; Sara-chan looking... I can't describe the expression. It's perfect.) Lauren: Sara-chan! YOU'RE animated! Sara-chan: Oh.

Yeah... I drew bodies! With DEPTH!
I drew Hermes leaning against a wall. I drew Kurokachi standing next to him looking hyper. I drew the head and shoulders of a redhead named Jen. (I dunno, I looked at her in black-and-white, and I thought, "She's a redhead and her name is Jen.")
Oh yes, and I realized why none of my stories, even the Hermes one, give me any satisfaction. It's like that author guy said - I have to write about things that are important to me.
So, I wrote a story about all my friends - that is, in a fantasy world. I skewed the names, and it's like a cross between Azumanga Daioh and the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. No plot, just following eight people around as they get into the weirdest situations.
1. Andusty - Andy Salerno in real life. In the story, a scientist/warrior and the leader of the group, who believes that illustrated books called "manja" hold all life's secrets.
2. Para-Sara - Me! I'm a hyper person with wolf ears who speaks only in my own made-up language. I don't understand or speak anything else, so I just chatter aimlessly at people.
3. Benji - Ben Vallaincourt. A half fire demon with a fixation for burning things and an incredibly violent mind.
4. Darth Derrin - My friend Devin. He's convinced he's the long-lost heir to an ancient power called "The Force" and that if he manages to find a special sword called a "lightsaber" he can rule the group and all our troubles will be over.
5. Gill - Gillian Millard. A little orphan who's kind of along for the ride. She can use rudimentary magic and carries around a bag and sketchbook everywhere.
6. Chibee - Christina! A half-elf with a very dry and sometimes perverted sense of humor. She can understand what Para-Sara's saying 40% of the time, and is also official caretaker of Fred.
7. Dealaura - Lauren. An elf with low tolerance for annoyances. Kicked out of her home for not being cheerful like the other elves, she enjoys nothing more than abusing Benji for hs violent mind, and hates horses.
8. Fred - My brother, Red. A chihuahua with amazing speed and razor-sharp fangs; an attack chihuahua, if you will. His official caretaker is Chibee, and she's also the only one he doesn't bite on sight.

LOL. Right on the mark, there. I love chihuahuas! ;D The only thing I can think of that would make my character better is cougar ears, tail, claws, and fangs, like this hideous picture. (click) Let me know if you need help with any art! P.S. ARMSTRONG FEELS PRETTY. OH SO PRETTY.

Oh... my... Gawd. "Pretty"? ...HA HA HA HA HA HA! I'm trying my best to undergo a silent giggle fit here... my mom's trying to sleep. Pretty... Geez, I'm gonna be quoting that for ages.
Hmm... interesting idea. I've eliminated Para-Sara's wolf ears, and replaced them with an expression of constant blank happiness. Andusty finds it rather creepy at their first meeting, but soon decides that she is NOT a zombie, just incredibly stupid. Yes... that leaves no one with any animal parts (if you don't count Benji's fangs). Perhaps a tail is in order. *smile*
Awesome picture by the way. "In My Dreams"... I like that. Some help with art would be nice, Andusty turned out well but I'm at a total loss for what to do with Para-Sara. Andusty has the expression I crafted for him nicely, but blank happiness is hard to do. I should think making the eyes bigger, with dilated pupils, would help... and making the eyebrows look all bright.
OK, I'm putting the Armstrong thing in my sig. With color. That's just... just classic.

GAH HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA etc...
*ten minutes later*
Phew...
I repeat - Oh. My. Gawd.
Ha ha! Para-Sara is complete! Surprisingly, her face turned out perfect. Her entire upper half is perfectly in proportion. The problem - her bottom half looks ridiculous.
Where WERE you today? I'm not going to be at school tomorrow, so you'll have to live without me while I have my teeth tortured. (BRACES!! AHHHHH!!)
FMA episode. Wow.
Y'know, I was a little apprehensive when Alexis told me it wasn't very good (A non-good FMA episode? HELLO?) but I think she equates "good" with "action" or "humor."
OK, never mind the humor comment. It was pretty darn funny when Winry chucked that wrench at Ed. And that proud expression on Ed's face when Pinako told him he'd grown an inch. And when Pinako tells him, "Take your time getting your limbs back, we're making a killing off you." And Ed's description of Winry as a "mechanic junkie" was cute.
But, back to "good". The beauty of FMA does not lie in the action scenes, as awesome as they are. It doesn't lie in the humor, even though it's great. The wonder of FMA, what makes it a true classic, is the depth. How it explores Ed's feelings, and Al's, and takes time out of hunting down a brain-imploding serial alchemist killer to make you feel all sad and mushy. The scene where Al and Ed are visiting the ruins of their house, and thinking about their past, and "Brother" is playing in the background... it literally moved me to tears. I think I liked that episode even more than I liked the one with the fight with Scar. Anyone can recreate a fight; it takes true depth to make it more than that. When Ed saw Scar hurt his brother, and went nuts and threw himself in the way, sacrificing his metal arm, that said so much more than if he had just fought.
Oh yes, and I have this to say: Ed is even hotter with his hair down. And I rather liked how he spent half the episode in his boxers. *shutteth up* I dunno if I'm going to be able to grow my hair that long in just six months.
Also, I have adopted as one of my nicknames, "Major Spaz." As Ed calls Armstrong when he's explaining his and Al's tradition of sparring.
Ooh yeah! GUESS WHAT AMRY GOT AT THE MALL!! THAAAAAAAT'S RIGHT! A [glow=red,2,300]ROY MUSTANG ACTION FIGURE![/glow] He came to school in the Holy Purse of Anime. Nice to be six inches tall. Meeeeeee...

*unfolds umbrella* there, there, I understand... but just think, while you wait, the world waits with you, but I wait anew every week. Still, I know how you feel... I had to wait four months for the first DVD, and the next one comes out in a month! *sob*
Like, last week, Lauren's VCR fried! And on the episode where Ed discovers the last component of the Philosopher's Stone (I begged it out of Ben, but that's not the same as actually seeing it) and now I understand why the Crystal Alchemist didn't finish the Stone - I mean, he can't go using human flesh when he's a doctor!
I missed a classic Ed facial expression, as Chrissi so gracioudly told me.
