well nate... it looks like its just you and me who like the game of baseball on this site. big series coming up between the two best teams in baseball. the orioles and the white sox. its in chitown. as an oriole fan i'm going to say that a split is satisfactory.

But Boston is still the best team. The Orioles will die out by september, theyre pitching is too young to hold on so long. Boston was best last year, Boston will be best this year. (you, as an O's fan shuold always remember the Ortiz's homerun! hahahaha! that was wicked awesome!)

ya... that put a tear into mine eyeballs. o well, just one pointless meaningless game. i will clue you in onto a non-pointless number though. games back--bosox=2.5, and by the looks of things, boston is about to get shutout. better hope ortiz gets a chance to bat here in the bottom half of this inning, or else its gonna be a three game lead (three games back from your perspective). by the end of september you might be right though. it might be boston, but then again, like i always say, "we've got the most under-rated pitchers in the game." will they choke? its likely. are they going to choke? they better not. good to know that i'm not the only crazy non-sports-lover on this site. yay for you shadow!!!! o no... one out... down by two, what you gonna do? as i wait for this game to finish, i will tell you of my story. yesterday i went to an orioles game. yes, they lost, but, at least i got a baseball. i caught a home-run during the batting practice. i am happy and i know. *clap**clap* 2 down, 1 to go.........strike one... oooo, stupid jonny, prolonging things. well guess who is on deck? now if renteria walks, ortiz can hit another walk-off. well, too bad but he grounded out. i'll just give you a look at the standings here ---------W------L------GB bal-----40-----27-----__ bos----37-----30------3

do you realise that baltimore has only lost three games in a row one time this season. never have they lost four in a row yet. there is always a first, but i wouldn't think that the first is going to come in balti. nice try slick

well, we've been in first for over two months now. this is the closest you have been in that whole period of time. I congradulate you on getting within one game... hopefully i won't be congradulating you anymore, but we still have about another month to go before some of our key players are back, so I'm kinda scared. You guys frighten me, but right now i think that a Nats O's WS is one of the most intriguing possibilities in sports. Personally i think that'd be fun.
