Walking on a sandy shore, By a calm and gentle sea, A young girl dreamt to fly and soar, Like an eagle, she wanted to be.
She dreamt of seeing the mountain high, And the valleys that plunge so deep, Finding treasure beneath the sunlit sky, And worthwhile memories to keep.
She thought and dreamt of that easy life, Free of all the sin and shame, A life that's free of worldly strife, And no thought to guilt or blame.
"What hope have I to be that free?" She thought with her head hung low, "An eagle, that, I cannot be," And she turned around to go......................to be continued.
Okay this is my first try at a poem. I need to finish it but it takes me a while to think of rhyming words :)lol

Quite sick actually. She's good at too many things. Truthfully though, I am very proud of her. I always show every one her drawings and now I can show them her poems.
