The quiet cottage stood about a mile from the main road going through the Chantillian Kingdom. One chimney and no second floor. A basement which was as wide and as long as the first floor. There was a good sized yard all around the house and if you were to pass the picket fence and walk along the path to the front door you would have to walk up two stairs because the front porch was a little elevated off the ground. The cottage was quite plain but in it's simplicity it had beauty.
If you walked around the house you would come to a small stable where Typhas, Kimnas' horse was kept. Also around back there was a tap, a back door leading into the kitchen and a door leading down into the basement.
As you walk in the front door on the right there are two padded chairs and a couch cozily settled in a semi-circle around the fireplace. On the left there is a half wall for a few feet, then after about two feet it starts up again and continues to the other side of the house which is not more than seven feet. Beyond the half wall on the left there is a table with three chairs in place around it, obviously the table for meals because it had two candles and a table cover on top of it. Beyond the halfwall on the opposite side of the house was the kitchen. There were a few cabinets, an oven, and a few other contraptions which were neat and orderly, although hard to identify. There is a door leading to the backyard on the far side of the kitchen. On the far right side of the house are stairs leading down into the basement. The entire first floor has a dark wood floor.
