You enter of the streets of the Chantillian kingdom into a small shop tucked next to the tavern. It's warmed nicely and brightly lit, and full of various racks of clothes. You pick your way through the racks until you come upon Amry, sitting in front of the fire, her head bent over some unfinished article of clothing or other. She glances up and smiles when she sees you.
Welcome to the Thread and Thimble! Here you can find sturdy durable clothes at good prices. Naturally, there is a great difference between a peasant's wool tunic and a lady's fine silks, but everything you find is well priced according to how much you have to spend.
I also will make custom designed clothes for you on request, and I will even sew a tunic of boiled leather (a kind of non-metal, easy to move around in armor) for a little extra.
Enjoy your shopping!

(oops... yeah... I'm still getting used to this whole double-account thing, that's Amry in the shop, not Sareae.)

Kimnas walked in and looked throughout the clothes for a while. He walked up to Amry a few seconds later.
"Do you think you could make me a black tunic of boiled leather and a long dark cloak? I mean, really long like from hood to my feet. Thank you, I will return soon."

Amry blinks at the sudden request, but recovers quickly when she sees her potential customer headed out the door. She dives after him, catching him by the sleeve as he opens the door. Sir, I'll have to take your measurements before I start such an order as that, she tells him, leading him to a back room. Boiled leather chafes something awful if it's even the tiniest bit too small, and you're certainly quite tall. She retrieves a stool from the corner and proceeds to take chest, leg, and waist measurements, quickly and efficiently. When she finishes, she rolls up the measuring tape with a flourish. There you are sir, all done! It'll take me a day or two to make it, you can come back then and we'll discuss payment. She waves cheerfully as Kimnas leaves, immediately turning to her worktable to sort out the cloth.

"Quite an odd sort of lass...but she's fine." Kimnas thought to himself.
"Thank you." he said quietly as he left the shop.

Amry watches him curiously for a moment before shrugging and turning back to her hobbit-sized worktable. She measures out the cloth and begins to sew the boiled leather.
Several hours later, she shakes out the finished garment triumphantly. It was pure black-dyed and tough, but also nicely supple. All it needed now was a little decoration. Amry decides to put that off til tomorrow and hangs it up in the back before grabbing her own cloak and leaving the shop for the warmth of the Prancing Pony.

Returning to the shop the next morning, Amry seats herself as usual and contemplates how to decorate the finished cloak. She finally decides to just a hem it a bit with silver, and does so quickly. Putting it aside, she picks up the pieces of boiled leather and looks at them critically. This wouldn't be particularly hard, just a bit time-consuming, but she had all day. Or most of it, orders were already pouring in for the spring prom in the Shire. The pieces are pre-cut, and she has only to sew them together into a serviceable tunic before leaving them to soak in a tub of black dye for an hour or two.

Kimnas walked into the shop and smiled at Amry as she was finishing up his cloak. He walked around her shop to kill some of the wait and then came back to her and asked.
"Finished yet?" he spoke softly.

Amry looks up and holds out the finished cloak, trailing on the floor a bit because of its length. She hands it to him, saying, That'll fit just fine, but I think you'll want to go in back and try on the boiled leather before you take it home. It's all your choice, of course, but it's very hard to move in undersized leather.

"Hahaha! Thank you!"
Kimnas went into the makeshift changing room and put on the cloak. It was actually a little big! Perfect for Kimnas' type of clothing! He loved big clothing. Especially when they are jackets and such.
He walked out to Amry and said...
"It fits just awesome! How much do I owe you?"

Amry beams with pleasure and quickly adds up the cost in her head. That'll be... fifty rupees. ((I told you the armor was a little more expensive!)) If it ever tears or anything, you can bring it back and I'll repair it free.

"For free?" Kimnas said.
"Wow! Okay, here you are." Kimnas handed Amry 50 rupees.
As Kimnas was walking out the door he turned to Amry and said.
"Thank You...I will most probably be back. Then he was gone.

Shadow silently enters the shop and is standing in front of Amry before she notices him. Spooked Amry quickly puts on a professional show
"Well! H-hello sir! How may I help you?"
"Make me invisible." Shadow's voice deep but clear. He cuts straight to the point saying nothing more than is nessecary.

((Hi! Er, would you mind not roleplaying for my character? If you say in your post that you want to appear scary or intimidating, I will react accordingly. )) Slightly spooked by the sudden stranger, Amry is taken off guard. She blinks once or twice, then regains her composure and considers his order. He spoke no more than necessary, but a please would have been nice... ah well. Sir, I don't deal in invisibility cloaks. I can provide you with camoflaged clothing, black clothing, clothing that reflects no light, even clothing that never rustles when you move; but I can't hide you completely. She hops off her stool and looks him over, already taking mental measurements. What sort of invisibility are you looking for?

((sorry about that))
Shaodw clenches his teeth at the woman's naivity.
"Just do the best you can."
