Hahaha, it's alright. Just prove to us that you are better now, by rping better, in this thread. Turwaithion, the elf, rode into the Shire on his closest animal-friend, his horse Typhas. He had been with this horse for over a decade and they were, as it would seem, brothers. Some people, when they are with each other long enough, can predict their friend's next action. With Typhas and Tur though...they could predict the next action, why they made this action, who gave them the idea, when they got the idea, where they would do it, who they would do it with, and the motives and thoughts behind the action. *Grin*. They knew each other well.
Tur rode in and came to an inn. Outsider's Innwas the name. It didn't seem very welcoming and it seemed as though no one really used it. He, himself had never seen any beings other than hobbits in the Shire, save animals of course. Tur liked the town though, and he had made many friends among the Bagginses, Tooks, Brandybucks, Proudfeet's, and various other hobbit families. Tur put Typhas up in the stables and walked into the Outsider's Inn.

Amry is seen presently, dragging a stubbrn pony toward a very small house set into an equally small hill. The pony is obviously quite tough for its size, and Amry is digging her feet into the dirt attempting to move it. Several older Hobbits watch the young Hobbit with amusement. One calls out, Ponies are for riding, you know! Amry gives him her best glare and shouts back, Yeah, why don't you try riding this one? She hops on its back and is promptly thrown off again. A second attempt yields the same result. Blast you! she cries, The man at the fair said you were well-behaved and gentle! You're a monster! In a fair fit of rage, she drops the reins and stomps on them. The pony chooses this moment to yank its head up, catching the reins around Amry's foot and sending her to the ground again, this time being dragged around the Shire. Help! She shouts to any and all who will listen, preferably someone strong. Help! I'm being - off- attacked by a -oof- mad pony!

Tur, hearing all the commotion came running out of the inn. He raced to his horse, lept up onto it and sped up catching up with the smaller horse. He said a few words in Elvish loud enough for the horse to hear it but not for anyone else. This was a hard task considering the female's squealing, shrieking, and screaming. The horse immediately came to a stop once it heard Tur's words. Tur then slowed his horse and came runing back to Amry.

Amry stands up, trying to regain some semblance of dignity, and takes the now docile pony's reins in hand. She replies stiffly, Yes, I'm all right. Thank you. She bows to show her thanks and leads the pony to a post driven into the ground beside her home. After tying up the pony, she returns to the stranger and says in the courteous manner of hobbits, You've been a great help. Let me buy you a drink. She doesn't particularly approve of Elves showing up and acting all highborn at respectable hobbits, but he did her a good turn and she should repay it. As annoying a task as it might be. [glow=pink,2,300]No grudge, just regular hobbitish suspicion. [/glow]

[glow=blue,2,300]I understand completely. An outsider is usually looked down upon by hobbits. I do hope that after a while we might become friends though.[/glow]
"A drink would be nice, but wouldn't you bringing a strange elf into the Green Dragon be hurting to your reputation? If that be the case, I will accept your drink as long as I do not hurt you in any way, for that is not my goal and is quite far from it."

[glow=pink,2,300]Sounds good![/glow]
Not at all, Amry says, though thinking to herself that this is a very perceptive Elf. They'll understand, I'm sure; a good deed never goes un-repaid in the Shire. She starts walking, beckoning to the Elf. It'll be around ten minutes walking to get to the Green Dragon. I was on my way there before, but for the pony dragging me in the opposite direction. What's you name, by the way? I'm Amry Weaver.

"Turwaithion Dreamere, at your service."
Tur followed Amry, smiling at her unusual kindness towards a stranger.
"So, any happenings in the Shire lately? Any of note?"
