Just thought I'd make a thread where you can post your fav. verse. I don't know if I have only one, so I think I'll just post my favorite verse of the day I post.
Today ( and the past few months ) it is....
....But one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. Philippians 3:13-14
I actually really like the whole of the 3rd chapter, but this one verse really stands out right now just with all of the things that have been happening in my life this past year.

JAMES! *glompglomps James*
"For, my brothers, I say to you: Faith without deeds is dead. Is is like a man who looks into a mirror, and upon looking away, forgets what he looks like."

Sweet verses!
For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:38-39

wow, these threads are so awesome...
Psalm 63
" O God, you are my God, earnestly I seek you; my soul thirsts for you, my body longs for you, in a dry and weary land where there is no water. I have seen you in the sanctuary and beheld your power and your glory. Because your love is better than life, my lips will glorify you. I will praise you as long as I live, and in your name I will lift up my hands."
gives me 'shiveries', if there is such a word

How lovely is your dwelling place, O LORD Almighty. I long, yes, I faint with longing to enter the courts of the LORD. With my whole being, body and soul, I will shout joyfully to the living God.

Well........I've been thinking about it.......I don't really have a single favorite verse so it's kinda hard to put one in this thread, but I do have a few that I really like ( Nick's was one of them ) and I have one Psalm that I really really like. Psalm 139. I was going to write it out but I thought it might be a bit to long so I'll leave it up to you to go look at it ;Dlol another one is Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Hm... I like Proverbs, but it's huge. I try to find a couple of meaningful verses from there, and memorize them. Heh heh... I used to write rhyming poetry with different verses on the same subject. Most of it stunk.

Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who being in the form of God thought it not robery to be equal with God, but made himself of no reputation and took upon him the form of a servant and was made in the likeness of men, and being found in fashion as a man he humbled himself and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. So also God hath highly exalted him and given him a name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee shall bow, that is in heaven, and that is in earth, and that is under the earth, and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father.
Phillipians 2:5-12 uh thats the KJV... sorry anyone can look in their own bible if they dont like that:-P but thats the version i memorized it from and so thats how i worte it.

Awesome, plainly and simply, awesome Psalm 139:14 "I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well." KJV. The end 'and that my soul knowether right well' is like, 'and this my soul knows very well' basically.
