Gwy walked quickly inside the first room of the massive building to get out of the cruel sand storm which had just hit Siftura. As he entered the room two guards stood to attention on either side of a set of double doors.
"What is your business with the Royalty of Siftura, sir?"
"I am here to speak with the King about a serious matter." replied Gwydion.
"What matter would that be?" said the guard.
"A matter which concerns the King."
"Oh, so we're not important enough to hear about the matters, eh?" one of the guards said as he glanced over at the other guard with a sly smirk.
"Yes, that's right." Gwy said calmly.
The two guards were a little taken back by the quick and abrupt response of the visitor. They noticed that they had not accomplished their task of frightening the visitor into telling them and so they simply opened the door and gave Gwy instructions to go and speak with the man at the far side of the grand room.

Walking to the other side of the room took more time then Gwy expected yet he was patient. The man on the other side of the room who Gwy was instructed to talk to was dressed in a large red robe which was coated with white fur. He had a long grey beard and looked very respectable, and although he had calm blue eyes there was a sort of mysteriousness that Gwy sensed in this man as Gwy approached him. The man looked Gwy down and up and made a half-hearted smile.
"Well, sir, how can I help you?" the man said.
"I'm here to speak with the king, would you please take me to him?" Gwy replied.
"Commoners are not allowed to speak with the king, I'm sorry. Good day."
"I don't give up that easy sir." Gwy spoke directly to the man's mind. "I am asking you politely to take me to the king, if you disregard my nice request perhaps I will have to use other means of convincing you to take me to him."
The man's mouth dropped. His eyes widened and he stammered out the words...
"R-r-right this w-w-ay, s-sir."
Gwy smiled at the man and followed him through the door, down a hallway, through an empty room, down another hallway, and right up to the door of the king's chamber.
"Thank you kind sir. You have been most kind."
And with those words Gwy left the man and opened the door into the king's chamber...

Before the doors shut closed, the small, blue and purple figure of a bird fluttered by in a rapid matter. The guards paniced. "GET IT OUT OF HERE!"
Posed much like a dart, it spread its wings, and, seconds later, twirled, landing on Gwy's shoulder. It shifted to a miniture dragon and squeeked. It gave rassberries to the guards behind her then turned back around, blinking crystal blue eyes. "rarg.."
((That's Laina, being all.. wierdish.. cuz she can.. xD))

(Hope it'll be cool to start my character here. If not, I can delete it. It'll be cool with me if it needs to be deleted.)
*The King handed him the small bag of money that was full of 100 gold. He put it in a small bag and buttoned it up on the inside of his coat.*
?: Pleasure doing busness with you my lord. *his voice said proudly, sounding strong but yet still so young.*
King: Not a problum, It is I who should be thanking you anyway. The mad lunitic has escaped my forces and everything. But I knew you were the right man for the job. Your reputation prosedes you, Okami.
Okami: I like to do my part of service for those that need help in the world. I only do what is asked, my lord.
*he turned his head and looked out a window near by, the King caught a glimps of something behind his hair that was covering his right eye. Something red...something...evil looking.*
Okami: I belive it is time for me to ...
*his sentence was cut off as the door behind him opened.*

((AWESOME! Cool, great, wonderful, okay. So Laina is on my shoulder being all cool-like and Okami is just finished being paid and I interrupt his meeting with the king.)) Gwy barely flinched as Laina landed on his shoulder. Turning quickly around he said softly to the guards..."It's okay, I know this bird." Gwy turned back around to the king and the young-looking man. Raising his eyebrows a little Gwy made motion as if to leave and said..."Am I interrupting anything? If so, I'm sorry, I can go..." King: No, it's alright, we were just finished. Thanks again Okami. "Oh, in that case." Gwy said, beginning to walk towards the king."Your Highness, I have come to invite you to a council gathering. This council shall consist of all the Kings of Lodon, and a few other people such as myself, that we can rally. Naturally, as the king of Siftura, you are invited. Anyone may come to this gathering, in fact, the more the better. This topic of this council is concerning the dragons. Basically we are going to decide the dragons fate, so I suggest you come." Gwy looked over at Okami and smiled a 'Hello, How are you?' smile.((Notice, that Hello, How are you? was not telepathy, rather a type of smile )

*Okami couldnt help but have an intrest as he over heard the Dragon topic as he was walking away. He turned around and asked the man very politly, noticing the smile, he also cracked a small one. Very quiet and strange, as always, but still had manners...just not the best.*
"What about the Dragons? What do you mean their fate?"

Gwy's look faded to a grim grin.
"Yes, their fate. Some believe that these magnificent creatures are too dangerous to have around and that they should all be killed."
King: As well they should. Nasty creatures, dragons. About three fourths of the deaths in this town have been because of dragons. I don't know about killing them, but maybe getting them and putting them in a sort of enclosed area or something.
((Hope you don't mind, I'm making the king a bit against the dragons, because I think that we won't have too many people against the dragons at the council.))

((I assume a dragon could do this... judging from what I've seen/heard from McCarver about dragons of Lodon.))
Some miles away, in a cave weathered out of a ridge in the Sifturan desert, Wyra crouches over a small puddle. Light from torches stuck in the cave walls by some awesome strength illuminate the scene of the council chamber in the water.
Leaning over Wyra's left shoulder is an enormous desert dragon, a deep yellow-red in color and at least fifty feet in length. Every so often the puddle is disturbed by the wind of its breath. The two gaze into the water, hoping against hope that Gwy's meeting goes well.
"Nasty creatures, dragons..." The puddle almost evaporates as the dragon lets out a mighty snort of fire, narrowly missing Wyra's hair. Calm down, Mheret, she says nervously. She knows she has nothing to fear from the flame, as dragons' aim is excellent, but she doesn't want the only scrying glass in the desert to evaporate. Gwy's very persuasive.

((I wanna play a dragon hanging out with Wyra... XP
I'ma say the cave has two openings; one near the top and the main entrance, cuz I wanna fly out of a hole in the cave.. xD))
A soft snarl of anger was heard. Flaps of wings soon followed, then ended, as the figure of a large black dragon edged for the castle, growling loudly in his mind. Nasty. They want to see nasty.. What I'm going to do to them won't even COMPARE to what most dragons do, even held BACK.
Hovering near the city, its tail laid low, swishing forwards and back. Large, black scales, tainted with a dark black, narrowed back to form its shell. Yellow eyes churned, eyeing over the area. Two black horns, which faded into a tannish-grey, laid upon its head. Black webbing equaled with a few missing patches here and there. Holding its neck up and back, tannish underbelly shown, it suddenly turned, a series of several fire balls aimed down at the sand. Neck coming back down, it hovered, then slowly landed on his hind legs, then on all fours. Its tail swished back and forth like a mad snake, before the dragon leaned back up on his hind legs, slightly growling. He had no real "name," so to say, but.. People called him Fatalis. Can't spell Fatalis without Fatal.

((I'm guessing there was two dragons in that cave because Wyra refers to the one dragon as Mheret and this other one is Fatalis. Just a thought...)) Gwy noticed Okami's grin of evil and entered his mind to catch his thought, 'It seems now I have a mini mission.'. 'Hmmmm,' thought Gwy, 'wonder what this one's up to...'"Well, the council is most probably going to be in the city of Ristop once it is all cleaned up from this past war. Jerassi did quite a number on that city, but Ragoth is quite capable of cleaning right up." Gwy looked out the window to see a dragon rear up on it's hind legs and he heard a slight growl. 'Uh oh...' Immediately Gwy thought of Wyra and sent a message to her wherever she was, 'Wyra! There's a dragon here at the king's palace. I need you to help calm it down or the king might vote strongly against dragons and that would not be good because even if the dragons win in the council he still is quite far away from other civilizations and he could still kill the dragons! Please come quick!' He didn't have a lock on where her mind was but he could picture her and he hoped that she was relatively nearby so that she could hear the message.((Hey Sasu, instead of putting your thoughts in "" two of them you could just put your thoughts in italics...just a suggestion )

((Ya, Fata's actually a draggy on MH, but he's uberly cool so I decided to stick him in. I'll grab a pic of him, sooner or later, but it's kinda hard, since he's always trying to fireball my butt off.. Oh yes.. and he has 4 horns on his head. I hadn't noticed until I happen to stun him and tried to take a picture of him. All the light grey should be white, as well. M'bad There's also white spikes rolling down from its neck to the tip of it's tack along its back. Hadn't noticed that either. So sorry.))

Wyra hears Gwy's message faintly, but distinctly. A dragon at the palace? What dragon would be idiot enough to... oh crap. Fatalis. Mheret - Gwy's calling. Stay here and try not to evaporate the scrying glass, I need to go sort Fatalis out. Mheret rolls his eyes as if to say, "Not again," and returns to watching the puddle.
Wyra darts outside and sends a frantic telepathic message out to Fatalis, careful not to let loose her very vehement thoughts on his "controversial" actions on him. Fatalis! You can tear things to shreds after Gwy is done working his butt off on your behalf. If you decide to avenge anyone now, you will only launch Lodon into an enormous human vs. dragon war. She realizes belatedly that this is probably exactly what Fatalis wants, and changes strategy. I mean, you really don't want the whole human world mad at you. Yes he does. Crap. Look - you won't have the praise of the dragons for this. Not all of us - you - want to start a war. Wait until the king makes his decision.

((heheh I think i'm gonna like this post, make people attack Fata because he's near the king.))
The king won't do squat if him and his selfish minions are dead. In some ways, he kind of wanted the king to attempt to kill them all; it just gives him a reason to flame their hides off. Then again, Kei and the others would not be very enthralled if they were to wake up one day, a hunter with a sword up to their necks and stabbing them to a slow and brutal death. Or for other dragons to wake up one day and find their children and family dead. They'd be anguished; and that was bad.
Fata may have been a mainly human-hater, but even he knew his precincts of his limitations. Fatalis had a weak spot for bowguns, especially explosives in bowguns.
He shook his head, snorting a puff of air at the building. He started flapping his wings, rousing up a few sand dunes and gusts of air. But for their sake, I will wait. However, if the king decides to attempt to murder us all anyway, I will spare -no- mercy on his hide. That was all he had to say before his tail flicked up.
However..
As he started airborning, he let out a loud shrill, wings failing and coming crashing to the ground. Someone had hit him; actually, several had hit him. Looking from afar, you would have seen a slight pierce; then that pierce exploded, and that exploded into 4 different bombs. They called it clust; he called it pain.
Shaking his head, he let out a deep rarg, back on all fours, then on his hind legs. They were firing from above him; he couldn't see them, but, the only way he could not see them was atop a tall building.
And the only tall building nearby was the king's. ((I'm assuming it's tall)The liars! Smoke and light traces of fire started steaming from his massive jaws, meaning that, if they didn't stop soon, he'd end up fireballing the tip of the building straight off. All this time, he was either growling or shrieking. Immediately, he sent a message out, to anyone who was nearby, including Gwy, Wyra and the king. CALL THEM OFF OR MAY HELL BE MY WITNESS I WILL FLAME YOUR FACES STRAIGHT OFF YOUR FACE WITH NOT ONE THOUGHT! He sounded angry. Really, REALLY angry.
