((I think this'll be the first time Evallon ever talks more than one word in her own tongue. Yay.
I've been forgetting her second-voice thing lately. Truely sorry 'bout that. If the end of a part of a sentence is ended with a ; or :, the word/ending part of the word will be in parethesis. They'll be italic either way, though.. You'll see what I mean this post..
Her name is echoed more than once. Evallon is different. She has a sort of.. connection.. with the spirits of people she's killed. They don't taunt, hunt, or anything to her, but.. when she says her own name, they "say" it, too, so it echoes more.. confusing, isn't it? lol.
Never let WhiteFangClaw scratch you. He's got a power that he inheirted from the vamp. that bit him that numbs the person he scratched for a few days, at mininum. It differs with people. Some take 4 days, some 3, some 5, it really depends. But the base is 3 days. The sideaffects with the "numbness" also vary from person to person. And how long it takes.))
"Master Jerrasi needs not to fight the likes of you!--you!"
Evallon's half-and-half voice echoed from above. Several small puffs of fire flinged down in warning at Ragoth. "Look at all your pitiful humans (mans..); they are trapped in Fury's flames.--..ames. You cannot help them, mortal. --..tal. Your men are dieing, burning, and our dragons have capabilities you have never even imagined of. --of.. She should not run (run..); YOU should.--should.. Dragons, humans, dwarves, and Orcs alike, or different, all fear the name.---name..
"Evallon!--Evallon.. Evallon.. Evaaaallloonn..
"And now you shall too!--too! Despite how many dragons you throw at us, none of them compare to me in the least bit!--bit!.. You cannot win this (this..); the odds are OURS!--ours!! ~*~ Rai had followed Gwy a bit. She'd traveled via her speciality. Lightning. But she grew quesy about 15 minutes off. She didn't know why. Might have been from blood loss. Or maybe from holding that danged wolf thing off.
Actually, it DID end up scratching her at one point..
But how would that make her feel this way?
She didn't know.
When she finally found Gwy's camp she couldn't go on. She fell onto her hands and knees. She felt hot, cold, warm, and weak, all at the same time. What was happening to her? Was it some special.. thing.. in the blades? Or that wolf? Or something like that? She wasn't sure. But she was quesy. Very quesy.
Somehow she felt her knees and arms give in. She fell, fainted. She didn't feel herself faint. Or hit the ground. Her skin was numb. Everything was numb. Everything. ~*~ Laina was unsure of everything. But she lurked in the trees, in a position where she could vaguely see Jerassi and clearly see the Orcs, and a position where neither of them could see her. She switched views 'tween the two orders. Ever so often, a loud sound of thunder echoed across the sky, as it slowly filled grey..
Strangely, that happened to be one of her favorite/her trademark entrance; hide in the trees, make the enemy think.. "Oh, clouds. Okay, it's just gonna rain. No big deal."
Of course they changed that to "ARGGGGGGG," if they could say anything afterwards.
It usually ended up in the enemy getting pelted with sleet the size of mini-vans. (VANS AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH*screams*) Of course if the humans didn't get out of the way then they'd get hit too. Get a bonk on the head with one of HER sleet balls... and you might as well kill yourself, if you're still alive. THey were heavy, huge, and frozen; something you don't want on your head to crack shards in your skull to stab your brain and cause you to bleed out of your eyes, nose, and ears. Not a pretty sight.

Jerrassi blanches when she sees the sword that's killed her time and time again. Only because of the earth's essence within her does she manage to stay from the other side. She smiles coldly, masking her fear, and sends a lick of fire running down her blade. Soon, the sword is ablaze, living flame.
Ragoth, this time the Sword of Lodon will fail. I have learned much from the elements themselves while you muster a pitiful mortal army. I am no longer human. I am all of the elements as one in a living body! You do not comprehend just how much power I truly have... while I may die, I always return. I will never see the Other Side - only you!
She shouts four rapid words in the tongues of the earth, wind, water, and fire elementals- Gkautkkh! Wissiuayhh! Craadhsh! Jhet!and swings her sword forward, launching the strength of a falling tree behind it as a sudden gale hurls itself at Ragoth's back, a patch of water covers his face, cutting off his air, and a searing tongue of fire envelops him. She purposely allows the blow to miss, giving him only the wind of it, and breaks all her other spells with a quick word of negation- Keh! All this happens in the blink of an eye.
As she eyes Ragoth, standing seared, bruised, and panting, she leans idly on her sword and laughs.
Tell me the heroes of Lodon ever stood against that! And that was nothing. Not a noticeable flicker of my power is used up. I am always replenished by the earth and water around me... She indicates the ocean, stones of the wall, torches burning in the hands of the soldiers. You picked a very bad spot to fight with an elemental sorceress, Ragoth.

Gwy's troop had moved along the mountains again after an hour or so of rest. His troops had found Rai, and he was glad. They had her wrapped in a blanket and let her know that she was being taken care of. They had bandaged her wounds and had her in good care.
Gwy and his men rested just behind the pass where Jerrassi had chose for an overseeing spot. They had rested a few minutes then prepared their weapons for any merciless slaughter that would come up next.
"Alright men," Gwy started in a hushed tone.
"Remember that Evallon, the gigantic creature is mostly fire based so when I bring it down you are ready with nets and buckets. Are the nets doused with water? Good. Alright my warriors, remember we stop at nothing and no beast can stop us! Leave Jerrassi to me, I want you to take down Evallon and kill it after you soak it! After you have killed it form ranks and get ready for my signal!"
Gwy motioned for his men to go forward, and they did with such a passion and force with their horses that none could stand against them. Gwy rode in front and saw Evallon facing the city of Dunton. Evallon was not paying attention to anything behind her and Gwy quickly used his telekinetic powers to pull the beast backwords and to push it's wings in towards its body so that it could not fly. As soon as the beast hit the ground it was met by buckets of water, wet nets, and soldiers, sailors, raiders, bandits, and every other sort of man that Gwy had in his group hacking away at the beast. So many knives, spears, maces, swords, arrows, and whatever other contraption the army had was thrust into that beast that nothing could've survived such an attack. And a surprising thing was that the only noise that could've been heard was the small shriek that Evallon made as she fell.
Gwy's captain rode up to him and spoke softly...
"Evallon, the beast, is not dead, but very heavily wounded. It is unconscious sire. Shall we wake and kill it?"
"No, leave it unconscious, Evallon might be useful later. I am going to the fight with Ragoth and Jerrassi, form ranks and relax, but do not be unguarded, have your scouts watch everything that is going on! Oh, and once Rai comes around tell her where Ragoth, Jerrassi, and I am. Let her come if she wishes, but if she wants to stay, let her, and guard her well." Gwy replied.
Gwy then rode off in the direction where he saw Jerrassi and Ragoth.
As he approached the two he lept off his horse and drew his blade, The Judgment. Nearing the spot where the fight was occuring, Gwy saw Ragoth was not doing too well. Ragoth's face told Gwy of his failing hope.
"Ragoth! I am here! Pick up your blade and we shall banish this creature to it's forever doom! Remember though, you must be the one to slay her, for if I do, even with that blade, she will come back, but if the Commander of Ristop and Dunton slay her then, and only then, will she meet her destiny and leave for the Other Side." Gwy had spoken to Ragoth's mind, and he wished that Ragoth's consciousness was enough to count upon.
Gwy then put a thought in Jerrassi's mind: "You can't win. You know that when he comes you can never fight his power. The might of his blade will drop you to your knees. Fear Gwydion!"
And with that last sentance Gwy kicked Jerrassi in the back and also lifted her up to a ledge of the mountains behind them. A platform was perfectly stationed on the edge of the steep decline of the edge of the mountains and Jerrassi landed perfectly on it. Gwy then brought Ragoth and himself up to the platform.
((Amry, if you want to bring in your elementals to battle, might want to do it quickly, because if Rai comes up you're outnumbered three to one.
Hope I haven't taken too many liberties with this post, it just seems as though if I don't make somethings happen then this battle will rage on for centuries lol.))

((tee-hee when evallon wakes up she'll probably think that her "master" betrayed her, because she didn't really help her in any way so yeah. She might back-stab. Evallon's fury is, well.... high.. XD
..Yeah.. Nick.. I hate to be a burden but, please try not to control my charries. I am very leanient, so I'm not all that mad, and I understand, but can ya try to ask first? It's justa little.. thing.. of mine. I'll let it go this time but try to ask me next time, it just makes me feel like I have no control over my charries once-so-ever, and I dislike that feeling so much. ^_^;; Thankies!*huggles and offers cookies*
Thanks for not killing her, Evallon's teh pwnage XDDD!!!!
Laina might help out with Jerrassi, too; but iono yet, she's kinda busy trying to hold back the others.. XP
Are there men back at this... "camp".. who're taking care of Rai? XP
I'll edit this when I find out, if there are, make it longer and stuff.. XP))
Evallon, caught in all the troubles/attacks/surprises/things, obviously had her mind caught off-guard, flattened, and rolled asjde like a useless ragdoll. She could just barely see Gwy's men around her in her now blurred vision. Her last, pain-filled roar as she then passed out.

Jerrassi makes her mind into claws and rakes at Gwy's conciousness, driving his threats out of her head. Unfortunately, she knows his threats are not empty. Unless she is as strong as she thinks herself to be, she will fall. Again.
Eyeing the sword of Lodon suspiciously, she edges to the back of the ledge where none can get behind her and levels her elemental sword at Gwy and Ragoth. She quickly infuses it with a shot of earth, for power; the blade glows gently green. Emboldened by the sudden surge of strength she feels in her weapon, she adds the yellow of air for speed, and the two colors twine about each other as they dance up and down the blade.
Come at me now, fools of Lodon! she snarls. I will need no elementals; their work is vanquishing your pitiful armies. The dragons will take your carcasses to the highest mountaintops and leave them for the carrion crows!

Ragoth caught his balance and turned to eveybody.
No. Do not help me. I do not need asistance he said with a laugh. TEXTRagoth wounds quickly healed and he was back to as if nothing had happened to him.
Everybody stand down. Gwy, you help in the battlefield. Your sword is no good against her. My blade is all that can kill her. He turned to Jerassi and spoke. Now look here. This sword, has faced you before and can kill you again. And look at my body. Good as new. This sword, when in the hand of the true King of Ldon, can regenerate its weilder. This sword was made from elemntal sorceresses and socerers such as you. So it has all sorts of nifty tricks.
With that it began to glow a bright blue and he pointed it at Jerassi. Nothing coul be seen excep for Jerasssi flying back about 20 feet into a stone wall, almost going through that.
Now then, I will give you a choice. Let me kill you now, or fight you. I would prefer to fight you though. Should be fun. Now choose.

(OK, each of us has to give up a weakness, or we'll just be throwing useless blows at each other all day... just so ya know, I can only be hurt by a direct blow from the Sword of Lodon. Flinging me against stuff does nothing. But... how will you get close to me? Muahahahaha...)
Jerrassi stands, unscathed. Your sword regenerates your strength, but it is a mere tool. My power comes from the world itself. She indicates the rock Ragoth threw her against, which is uncracked. You see? There is so much Earth in me, this stone is a part of me. Can you be unintentionally be injured by your own sword, Ragoth? Nor can I be harmed by anything of this world. She does not advance, but mutters something unintelligible, and a blue tongue of flame whips from her hand, straight at Ragoth. Should it connect, it will wrap itself around him and sear him until there is nothing left but charred bones; but, none have ever dodged it yet. Jerrassi has little hope for Ragoth.

Ragoth stood there looing at it and suddenly realized he had to move. He had a better idea though. He quickly through one of his men in front of him and another and another until he was close enough to Jerassi he swung and cut off her lower arm and half of what was left turned to stone and kind of crumbled. He then kicked her to the ground and then swung. She rolled and he missed. Ragoth decided he should move now and got bout 10 feet back.
" Waht now Jerassi. Your arm will never come back. Too bad I didn't cut more off" he said with a laugh. "I honestly see you as no threat to me. You are a threat to my men, but not to me. So fight me, Jerassi, I have yet to see your worst." Ragoth said.

Jerrassi cries out in pain as her arm trickles blood onto the ground. Severed by the Sword of Lodon, it will never be flesh and blood again, but she can still use the elements. She cups her hand under the stump, catching the blood, and with an exclamation of agony flings it against a tree some six feet away. The trunk shudders as her blood splatters against it, and a tendril of barely noticable... something... flows from it into her body. Soon, a new arm grows; but it is a branch, with bark and a knothole to make her elbow flexible, extending into five twig fingers. Leaves emerge from the twings. It is grotesque, but it will serve. She fortifies it with stone and raises her sword in her left hand, saving the branch for when she needs it.
Jerrassi is a competent fighter with just a sword, but her true power stems from her control over the elements. Regrowing a limb takes powerful magic, and few can do it; it has sapped much of her strength. It's nothing to panic over, but Jerrassi finds it slightly harder than before to jam her sword full of elemental energy as she charges Ragoth.
She hacks at him, blinding him with her twiggy right hand while she chops at his legs with her left. She aims for the Achilles tendon, but with the lesser mobility of her left hand she only manages to cleave his calf. Before he can react with his terrible sword, she dives back to the protection of the stones.

Ragoth blocks blow after blow from her sword and realized she was much weaker now. He felt a slight tingle in his calf and didnt think mch of it. He's had worse. He watched her sink into the stone, and his wound healed. For some reason orcs decided to take him on, he killed them easily. He looked down at his men fighting and noticed that Myrmidon, a good friend, and his men had come into the battle. Heh, this battle is already won. Not much left for him to do. But helpful anyways. He decided to hop down back in there and leave Jerassi alone for a while. He knew shed want to rest for a bit.

[glow=red,2,300]Posting as my new character Myrmidon now[/glow]
Myrmidon, a warrior for Atlantis but not by his choice, just ran into the battlefield with his men on their horses doing as much damgae as possible. He jumped off of his horse and unsheathed the 2 swords on his back and immediatly sliced to orcs. He stabbe one while stabbing another. He then kicked one down hekd the sword in an x position up to the orcs throat and sliced. A barbarian came up behind him, and he sliced his arm and lrg and got behind him, thrust the swors into his back and pulled each one in the opposite direction nearly severing him in half.
Aaahh....The rush." h said and continued killing more. He kills for pleasure.

((Hey Kronomas - Ever read "Shade's Children" by Garth Nix?)) David - Good post. Jerrassi flexes the branch arm. You are known as a great healer, Aclyx, but this arm was taken by the Sword of Lodon. Nothing will regrow it. She shakes her head angrily. Ragoth! To take my arm and my power, and then run off without finishing a fair battle! But no matter. She looks Aclyx up and down. You seem smart enough. Heal my dragons, my Orcs, my elementals, if you want to help. I fear if they keep dying as they do, this battle will be lost. And I'ce lost too many times before.

Ragoth, noticing someone talking to Jerassi had to go and see what was going on.
" Who are you?" he asked." and what are you doing?"
" I am a healer. Come to help Jerassi." he said
" Oh, are you now?" he said with a chuckle." Not if I can help it.
Ragoth quickly rushed forward to the healer but at the last second turned, and stabbed Jerassi in the leg and got a pretty good sized slice in her torso. She quickly fell to the ground. He then turned to the healer.
" Now listen to me healer. You either heal my men or die. Which is it?" he said

((You can heal Evallon. Evallon is quite easy to heal. I'll give you major clue. She's fire-based. Fire plus fire equals..? More fire! Fire is the main answer... :
Sorry for typos if there's any. ><) ))
Evallon's breathing grew harsh. She found herself cracking her eyes open, but she could not move; most of the "inner flame" that fueled her hd been burnt out, and unless someone burst flames near her mouth, or jst plain near her, it would take quite some time to heal fully. Her eyes narrowed coldly at Jerassi, one word echoing her mind. Traitor.
Laina's eyes shifted. She watched the battle, and figured she couldn't help much. Jerassi and herself both focused their powers mainly on the elements (earth, fire, wind, water, light, dark, etc.) so it'd be kind of hard to take down either. So she just watched.
((Brain dead. ><))
